In what times are we living?
Was the solar eclipse a sign from God?
Well, I believe it is for America. God has shown me that trying times are coming. More floods & hurricanes, trouble in the sky, sea and land (refer to the post "What's in store for 2017," that I posted at the beginning of the year). I believe there are some times ahead that will require faith to have the victory...especially here in America. God spoke to me in 2001 and said Egypt (the world's system) is going down, but God's people are coming up. I really believe that this era is going to be a glorious time for the people that are truly dedicated to Him. We are in a season of transition, where our lives are going to change. Everything that can be shaken, will be shaken! That which doesn't have eternal value will be shaken down, and that which has eternal value will come forth; God will strengthen what remains after the shaking. All that is not of God and outside of Jesus - all that is of the mind of man and his ways of thinking (referring to the way His children view Him from their own understanding and have made Him a God of their own image) will be shaken!
We can no longer worship an idol we have made of our own image of who God is! God will define Himself & the image and beliefs of who we think He is shall crumble in His greatness as the shaking continues. Yesterday, in our Sunday service we saw several people get the baptism of the Holy Spirit, cancer/infirmities leave bodies and strong prophetic words were ministered. After the service, I felt a a strong urgency to stay and pray. I felt God was showing me that times in America would be trying. I led the evening service in intercession and we all prayed at the altar. I saw battle ships, I saw the month of September, I saw the number 21 and I saw the west coast. When I came home later I heard about trouble with our battleships and how another large battle ship was damaged in an accident. To be honest, I haven't had the time since yesterday to "pray through" and detail what God was trying to show me. But I intend to. These could be unrelated symbols, however, I know judgement is at the door - but I still believe God is going to prosper His people. Just a note the solar eclipse falls on Aug 21st.
Haggai 1:1-2 "In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month (THIS DATE IS VERY SIGNIFICANT IN JEWISH CALENDAR) came the word of the Lord by Haggai the prophet saying, thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, 'This people say, The time is not come, the time that the Lord's house should be built.' Then came the word of the Lord by Haggai the prophet, saying, 'Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste? Now therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways. Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes. Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways. Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the Lord.' "
The same day of the eclipse is the same day as mentioned in chapter 1 of Haggai. IT IS THE FIRST DAY OF ELUL-the same day Moses went up the mountain, the same day Jesus went into the wilderness...both of these events lasted 40 days. When I was at Mount Sinai, I was told to go on a 40 day fast. From the time of this eclipse, the first day of Elul, until Yom Kippur is 40 days.
Do we not know the time? The word comes through the prophet in Haggai -these people are saying the time has not come for the Lord's house to be built, or you do not know the time? We have to be as the sons of Issachar having an understanding of the times of which we live. If we are not aware of the times we will not know what is needed to progress in this season. Right now, God is wanting His people to humble themselves. The importance of the solar eclipse falling on Monday, August 21st, is in relation to it falling on the first day of Elul which marks the 40 day countdown to Yom Kippur, which begins the month of repentance in the calendar of God.
God is ready for a people to go forward while walking in humility. We cannot walk in obedience without humility. And faith cannot come unless we are open to His word to hear it, especially if it is correction!
Let the Holy Spirit counsel you as to the time and season in which we are living. If you are not aware of the season you will not know where to put your faith! The shaking will intensify these fall months. Be aware that God is refining His church and correction may come. The more you are open to it and ready to make the changes the more enhanced your walk with Him will be! God is preparing His people for the greatest move of all before His return. Repent and get your house in order- recognize the season. As a voice sent to you by a prophetic call, I urge you!!
